MAQASIDI: Jurnal Syariah dan Hukum is owned and published by the State Islamic Religious College of Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh (Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh), Indonesia, through its Islamic Criminal Law Study Program within the Department of Sharia and Islamic Economics.

The journal's management is institutionally affiliated with the publishing institution and operates through an editorial structure responsible for the academic quality, editorial policies, and publication processes of the journal. The editorial team oversees manuscript screening, peer review, editorial decisions, copyediting, and publication in accordance with established scholarly publishing standards.

Editorial decisions are based on the academic merit, originality, relevance, and quality of submitted manuscripts. The journal is committed to maintaining editorial integrity, transparency, and academic independence throughout the publication process.

The journal is published biannually, in June and December, and welcomes scholarly contributions on Sharia and Islamic law from academics, researchers, legal practitioners, and other qualified contributors.
