SAKRALITAS, IDENTITAS, DAN RESISTENSI: ANALISIS WACANA HIJAB DALAM KASUS ISA ZEGA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna hijab dalam perspektif tradisional dan modern serta menganalisis kontroversi penggunaannya oleh individu transgender dalam konteks agama dan identitas gender. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis wacana kritis, penelitian ini mengkaji konstruksi hijab dalam kasus Isa Zega melalui analisis media, wawancara dengan pakar keislaman, serta kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hijab mengalami transformasi makna dari kewajiban religius menjadi simbol identitas sosial yang lebih inklusif, yang memicu perdebatan antara kelompok konservatif dan progresif dalam masyarakat Muslim. Kasus Isa Zega menjadi titik kritis dalam diskusi tentang batasan sakralitas hijab dan hak individu dalam berekspresi secara spiritual. Sebagian pihak melihat penggunaan hijab oleh transgender sebagai bentuk penistaan terhadap nilai-nilai agama, sementara yang lain memandangnya sebagai manifestasi spiritualitas yang melampaui batasan gender. Perdebatan ini mencerminkan ketegangan antara pemahaman agama yang mapan dengan dinamika identitas gender di masyarakat modern. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dialog yang lebih terbuka antara ulama, akademisi, dan masyarakat luas untuk menemukan keseimbangan antara ajaran Islam dan nilai-nilai inklusivitas, sehingga hijab tetap menjadi simbol yang bermakna dalam berbagai konteks sosial.
