Abstract
Arabic is a language that has a complex structure. Where each part can be rationalized. So that learning Arabic through a philosophical approach is something that is highly recommended. Likewise with mubtada’ and khabar, where both are the main elements (al-‘Umdah) in sentences in Arabic. Learning about mubtada’ and khabar should be through the al-‘Umdah approach as one part of the Arabic philosophy. Thus, students can know and understand the nature and application of mubtada’ and khabar in everyday life.
