Abstract

Muhadatsah is one of the sub materials contained on Tamrin lughah subjects' Arabiyah for classes IV-D and muhadatsah also one rule language section Care Pupils Darul Ulum Islamic boarding school which has developed a culture of communication between the students and the chaplain everyday. This muhadatsah Regulation has become the forerunner to the improvement and advancement of the ability of students in bermuhadatsah with modern methods. Once underway the golden age, then came again a period of decline, the students abstain from regulation Arabic muhadatsah with raw and bold use of Indonesian or regional language in everyday communication. This setback led to many errors saying the letter hijaiyah (makhraj letters) and students started many Arabic bermuhadatsah with non-standard. As researchers have observed that students of Darul Ulum Islamic boarding school yet makraj bermuhadatsah with the correct letters, vocabulary and sentence structure are not in accordance with the culture of the Arabs. Among the causes of the decline of the students in the muhadatsah is still the least religious teachers who teach Arabic by using the media, especially the audio media in the classroom or outside the classroom. The purpose of this study was to determine how the learning process muhadatsah using audio media and to know theb effect of the use of audio media in learning muhadatsah. This study uses Experiment. Researchers took samples of 30 students of class IV-D as the experimental group and 27 students of class IV-C as a control group. Research instrument used is: test (pre-test and post-test). While the research results with the use of audio media in learning muhadatsah is influential and successful in class IV-D Boarding School Darul Ulum, this can be seen on the results of the t test = 5.863 greater than 2,021 results (0.05)
