Abstract

Design is a system in terms of input, process, output and feedback. The process will go through three basic stages: analysis, strategy and evaluation. That's the explanation in the design process. Muhadatsah or conversational science is the study of how to learn good and correct language that is used in everyday life to interact or discuss a topic. In this study, the researcher wanted to discuss how the influence of the Muhadatsah teaching material design book to develop Arabic speaking skills in fifth grade students at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. The method used by the researcher is the Wilcoxon method, and the data collection technique in this research is to use interviews, tests, questions and documentation. The purpose of this research is to serve as a basis for reference in developing muhadatsah books for teachers and students. And the results of this study that the design of muhadatsah teaching materials affect the Arabic speaking ability of fifth grade students of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, this is evidenced by the increase in the posttest test mark from the pretest
