Teaching Arabic is related to the skills and elements contained in it to facilitate the selection of teaching media in order to fully achieve learning objectives. There are various ways to teach a foreign language. Each media has advantages and disadvantages, so teachers can choose the right media. Undoubtedly, teaching a second language requires a variety of teaching aids that are used to facilitate its teaching. The purpose of this study was to determine students' ability to learn Arabic after using language games and to determine students' motivation in learning Arabic by using language games. The research method used by researchers in this study is the action research method (Action Research), in which the researcher applies language games in learning Arabic at SD Negeri 3 Dewantara class V, and the material is taken from Arabic books. To collect data related to this study, researchers used interview instruments, direct observation and pre-test and post-test. The results of this study indicate that teaching Arabic requires appropriate and fun learning media. Teachers have to find new ways and language games have a great effect/influence to increase students' competence and motivate them to learn Arabic. From these results emerged an analysis of student answers on the exam for each stage. Obtained The final score is 9.05 this value is very good as expected.
