Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism Check
AT-TASYRI' Jurnal Ilmiah Prodi Muamalah will check for plagiarism using various available tools, including Google Search (i.e Ithenticate or Turnitin). The similarity report is reviewed by the editor, who considers not only the overall percentage but also the source, location, and nature of the matched text.

Maximum Similarity: The overall similarity index must not exceed 25%, with no more than 2% from any single source. The similarity check excludes the reference list, quoted material, and matches of fewer than 10 words.

Authors are encouraged to check their manuscripts for similarity before submission and to ensure that all sources are properly cited.

Plagiarism Policy

AT-TASYRI': Jurnal Ilmiah Prodi Muamalah is committed to publishing only original work. Plagiarism in any form constitutes a serious breach of publication ethics and is unacceptable.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbatim Plagiarism: Copying text word for word from another source without quotation marks and proper citation.
  • Paraphrasing Plagiarism: Rewording another author's text or ideas without acknowledging the original source.

  • Duplicate Publication: Submitting or publishing the same or substantially similar work in more than one journal.
  • Translation Plagiarism: Translating another work, including the author's own work published in another language, without citing the original.

Editorial Actions Based on Similarity

Similarity Index Editorial Action
≤ 25% The manuscript proceeds to the next stage of editorial assessment and peer review, provided no significant single-source overlap is found.
26% – 35% The manuscript is returned to the author(s) for revision to reduce similarity and improve citation before it can be considered further.
> 35% The manuscript is rejected without peer review. The author(s) may resubmit only after substantial rewriting.

Regardless of the percentage, any manuscript found to contain deliberate plagiarism will be rejected.

Author Responsibility
By submitting a manuscript to AT-TASYRI', the author(s) declare that the work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and for ensuring that all sources, including their own previous work and any AI-assisted content, are properly acknowledged.
