It employs a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis approach to examine relevant texts and literature. The research identifies four distinct periods in the history of Indonesian bureaucracy: the Dutch colonial era, the old order, the new order, and the reform era. During the colonial era, the political bureaucracy functioned as a means of societal control. The old order and new order shared similarities, with the Indonesian bureaucracy heavily influenced by the party political system, leading to factionalism and political machinery. Following the Reform Era, a significant anti-corruption movement emerged, driven by the strengthening of civil society. Nurcholish Madjid emphasized the importance of clear separation of powers among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, proposing the concept of checks and balances to prevent power abuses and establish a balanced and accountable governance system. From the perspective of Siyasah Dusturiyah, seven principles serve as the foundation for transforming Indonesian bureaucracy, promoting fairness, effectiveness, and active societal participation in decision-making processes.
Syamsuar Basyariah, Darlin Rizki Copyright (c) 2024 Syamsuar, Darlin Rizki https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2833 Fri, 23 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 OPTIMIZING SHARIA PRINCIPLES THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: A JURIDICAL-ECONOMIC INQUIRY INTO COMBATING FRAUD IN ISLAMIC FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2805
The main objective of this research is to examine how artificial intelligence can be used to optimise the application of sharia principles in Islamic financial institutions. The research will specifically focus on conducting juridical-economic investigations to prevent fraud. This research seeks to enhance the security of transactions and operations in Islamic financial institutions by assessing the role of artificial intelligence. It also aims to examine the ethical efficiency and compliance implications of integrating artificial intelligence with sharia principles. Additionally, the research aims to create predictive models and algorithms using artificial intelligence to identify fraud patterns that contravene sharia principles. Furthermore, it aims to establish a legal framework that facilitates the use of artificial intelligence in combating fraud within institutions. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of artificial intelligence can greatly enhance the security of transactions and operations within Islamic financial institutions. The incorporation of artificial intelligence into sharia principles enhances efficiency and ethical adherence. Additionally, the creation of prediction models and artificial intelligence algorithms effectively identifies fraudulent tendencies that contravene sharia rules. The research has several consequences, namely, the need to guarantee the security of Islamic financial services, enhance public confidence, and promote the establishment of policies that foster innovation in the Islamic financial sector. The report suggests that Islamic financial institutions should adopt artificial intelligence as a proactive measure to combat fraud. Governments might utilise the research findings as a basis for formulating policies that facilitate the incorporation of artificial intelligence in Islamic financial institutions. These proposals urge technology suppliers, Islamic consultants, and regulators to actively participate in applying research findings, guiding ethical norms, and establishing rules that promote innovation in the Islamic financial industry. Therefore, this research significantly contributes to the development of a financial ecosystem that prioritises safety, fairness, and adherence to sharia principles for the betterment of society.
Early Ridho Kismawadi, T. Changing the teacher's strategy in teaching is one way that teachers can do to get maximum learning outcomes. The blended learning model with the flipped classroom type can be implemented in the classroom by combining online learning at home and face-to-face in class. This study aims to determine the effect of this model on improving student learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi-experimental quantitative design. The population were all students of SMA Negeri 2 Meulaboh Aceh Barat with a sample of 60 students. The sampling technique in this study was by purposive sampling method. The research results showed that the test scores (pretest and posttest) in the control class and experimental class with a significance level of ∝=0.025 obtained t-test of 29.45 while the t-table had a value of 2.04. Because the t-test value is greater than the t-table value, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the application of the Blended Learning learning model with the flipped classroom type on the completeness of student learning outcomes.
Wulan Laili Handayani, Tengku Hafinda, Masni Masni Copyright (c) 2024 Wulan Laili Handayani, Tengku Hafinda, Masni Masni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2449 Fri, 23 Feb 2024 10:28:32 +0000 DID THE SPECIAL AUTONOMI FUND TRANSFER AFFECT THE INTER-REGIONAL ECONOMIC EQUALITY IN ACEH? https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2423
This study aims to analyze the convergence of per capita income of districts/cities in Aceh Province after the transfer of special autonomy funds that has taken place during the period 2008 to 2022. The method used is sigma convergence with dispersion analysis, coefficient of variation and beta convergence with the Arellano-Bond General Moment Method estimation model approach or First Difference GMM (FD-GMM). The results of the sigma convergence analysis revealed that there was a convergent trend throughout 2008 to 2019 even though in the Covid-19 period the 2019-2022 period slowly showed divergence. Meanwhile, based on beta convergence analysis, it shows that there is no GDP-per capita convergence, but the divergence shown by the value of the GDP-per capita coefficient of the initial year which is marked / positive slope and the variable of special autonomy funds shows negative and significant effects. These results indicate that the special autonomy fund has not contributed significantly to equity in Aceh Province. This is because budget management is still not good so that equity in Aceh Province is still constrained. Evaluation of the use of special autonomy funds must be carried out so that the use and management of these funds can be realized on target in accordance with the target considering that the transfer period of Aceh special autonomy funds will end in 2027.

Tajul 'Ula Copyright (c) 2024 Tajul 'Ula https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2423 Fri, 23 Feb 2024 10:34:21 +0000 MODERNITY AND RESISTANCE OF LOCAL KEPISANG WISDOM ON THE ECONOMIC EXISTENCE OF RUSABA COMMUNITIES IN LAMPUNG https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2411
The realities of modernity tend to degrade the local wisdom of indigenous communities who utilize natural resources as an economic livelihood, such as the kepisang tradition in Rusaba Village, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. Within this context, the Islamic legal perspective or Fiqh Jinayah offers a unique view on criminal liability for environmental violations. From the perspective of Fiqh Jinayah, the preservation of the environment is a moral and ethical obligation. The principles of hifz al-’ardh (preservation of the Earth) and amanah (responsibility) place a significant responsibility on humans to maintain the harmony and balance of nature. In this regard, criminal punishments and sanctions are applied as means to rectify the behavior of offenders, restore damages, and uphold justice in society. By employing a literature review methodology, the conclusion drawn is that criminal sanctions are imposed in the form of Ta’zir by ulil amri (authority figures) because, from the perspective of Fiqh Jinayah, they provide a holistic framework for comprehending and addressing environmental crimes. By integrating religious, ethical, and legal principles, this approach can assist in shaping responsible behavior towards the environment and creating a sustainable society for the future.
Sumardi Efendi, Fauza Andriyadi, Muhadi Khalidi, Tabrani ZA, Ramzi Murziqin Copyright (c) 2024 Sumardi Efendi, Fauza Andriyadi, Muhadi Khalidi, Tabrani ZA, Ramzi Murziqin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2338 Tue, 27 Feb 2024 15:51:53 +0000 LANGUAGE CENSORSHIP IN INDONESIAN NEWS HEADLINES: EUPHEMISM AND LITERACY LEARNING https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2319
The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of euphemisms in news headlines of mass media in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology centered on content analysis, the research unveils significant findings regarding the fluidity of fatwa in response to evolving societal dynamics. Results indicate that shifts in power coincide with temporal changes, marking the extinction of preceding norms and the emergence of new paradigms across successive generations. Furthermore, the study underscores the interplay between changing societal needs, conditions, and customs, serving as catalysts for fatwa modification. Geographical variations among Muslim countries and distinctions between Islamic and non-Islamic realms also contribute to the adaptive nature of fatwa. Notably, the mutability of customs across regions prompts corresponding adjustments in fatwa rulings. Additionally, fluctuations in circumstances, characterized by evolving societal needs and conditions, necessitate adaptive fatwa responses. The narrative underscores the need for communal response mechanisms, including rituals of mourning and collective prayers, in the face of mass fatalities resulting from environmental transgressions. Furthermore, it critiques the shortcomings in international aid efforts, pointing out instances of misappropriation and exploitation driven by personal agendas and insufficient oversight. The call to action emphasizes the importance of advocating for environmental preservation, deterring the use of weapons of mass destruction, and strengthening oversight mechanisms to combat administrative and financial malfeasance. Overall, the passage offers a thought-provoking exploration of the complex interplay between conflict, religion, environmental ethics, and humanitarian response, urging for collective efforts towards addressing these multifaceted challenges.
Eman Ali Sholeh Zemam, Hidayatil Muslimah Copyright (c) 2024 Eman Ali Sholeh Zemam, Hidayatil Muslimah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2894 Tue, 27 Feb 2024 16:24:52 +0000 TARIQAH AS SOCIO-RELIGIOUS MEDIA POST COVID-19 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2850
Tariqah as a medium for religious social communication is still questioned in the Islamic spiritual tradition. This discourse was popular in 2010–2018 in Aceh and received the attention of a number of academics and public officials. The Acehnese discourse is one of the postcolonial responses in viewing Aceh from the academic perspective of the Acehnese people themselves. This article then tries to reconstruct the metaphysical and epistemological foundations of Acehnology. It was found that Acehnology has a metaphysical basis for monotheism, an epistemological basis for Sufism and local wisdom, a scientific methodological basis for East-West integration, and a paradigm basis for the Islamization of science. It is hoped that this article can contribute to the development of Islamic insight, science, culture and religion in Aceh.
Ramli Copyright (c) 2024 Ramli https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/2897 Wed, 28 Feb 2024 15:56:40 +0000 STUDENTS’ ANXIETY IN LEARNING ENGLISH https://ejournal.staindirundeng.ac.id/index.php/dicis/article/view/1363
The aim of this study is to investigate students’ anxiety in learning English.
